About Excel Australia
Excel Australia is the company that has written and developed the Rental Workbook.
The Rental Workbook was developed in 2001 in response to the growing need for a simple, easy-to-use program that helps investment property owners keep track of their investment property. Most of our customers don’t want to use complicated accounting software or other technical software packages – that’s why they love the simplicity and power of The Rental Workbook.
Excel is Australia owned and in the most part, run by our executive director, Mel Chappell-King.
Mel migrated from the Accounting industry by training the Accountants themselves how to use their PC’s. Having previously worked in Management Accounting in the UK, she moved into Software training in 2000 working for a highly regarded Accountancy training firm.
Having moved to Australia in 2003, she now works as a private in-house Excel & workplace consultant, training Excel and other Microsoft™ products for her clients. She specialises in producing workbooks for those who don’t have time themselves, and in increasing the workplace productivity and efficiency by ensuring the end users have the training and assistance that they need.
Mel is also a Freelance Excel and Microsoft Office trainer and provides all of our training and Excel development services. She holds the Microsoft Office Master Instructor Certificate, is a member of the association of accounting technicians (MAAT) and the Cert IV in Training and Assessment.
